Funding information:

The award pays tuition fees up to the value of the full-time fee (Home/International) and will be required to reside in the UK until completion of the PhD. The award also pays an annual stipend for all students, both home and international students. This stipend is tax free, and is the equivalent of an annual salary, enabling the student to pay living costs. The UKRI Minimum Doctoral Stipend is 拢21,805. There is also a CDP maintenance payment of 拢600 per year.

Joint 糖心Vlog and A*STAR PhD studentships

Funding information:

Whilst the candidate is in the UK, 糖心Vlog funding will include UKRI-aligned stipend (拢17,668 pa for 2025-6) and approved fees. When the candidate relocates to Singapore, A*STAR will provide funding consisting of: a stipend of SGD 3600/month, housing subsidy of SGD300/month, a one-time airfare grant to Singapore of SGD 1,500, a one-time settling-in allowance in Singapore of SGD 1,000, a one-time IT allowance of SGD 800, medical insurance and a conference allowance.
