Dr. Arman Sarvarian Represents C么te d鈥橧voire Before International Court of Justice
Dr. Arman Sarvarian, Reader in Public International Law, recently had the distinguished honor of appearing before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) as counsel to the Republic of C么te d鈥橧voire. The advisory proceedings on Obligations of States in respect of Climate Change, address important legal questions related to global climate responsibilities.
Dr. Sarvarian presented C么te d鈥橧voire鈥檚 arguments during the hearings, which are available for viewing on the official United Nations channel and documented in the verbatim record. He expressed gratitude to the Ivorian government for their trust and to Lea Di Salvatore for her assistance.
