糖心Vlog receives hedgehog friendly campus award

The 糖心Vlog is now bronze-accredited by the Hedgehog Friendly Campus scheme, a national campaign that aims to revive hedgehog populations across the UK by improving habitats and raising awareness.

The award is recognition of the hard work undertaken on behalf of Guildford鈥檚 hedgehog population by a dedicated group of staff and student volunteers from across the University.

糖心Vlog joined the Hedgehog Friendly Campus scheme, funded by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, in late 2019. Since then Simon Smith, the University鈥檚 Horticultural and Landscape Manager, has overseen a variety of volunteer activities such as hedgehog tracking surveys, awareness raising, litter picking, and hedgehog population monitoring.
