The central theme of Vahid's research is 鈥淚nter-Organisational Technology Adoption in Supply Chains鈥, which forms a consistent 鈥渞ed thread鈥 across his projects and publications. This includes work on adopting digital technology for omni-channel integration, supply chain intelligence to enhance agility and resilience, collaborative tracking and tracing using RFID-enabled traceability, adoption of blockchain and its impact on managing complexities in supply chains, and CBDC to improve financial transactions in supply chains. Across all these studies, he examines technology adoption in supply chains, not only highlighting its potential benefits but also addressing the barriers, unintended consequences, and 鈥榙ark sides鈥 that can arise in inter-firm adoption contexts - generating novel and interesting contributions with practical relevance.
Currently, Vahid leads four research projects related to these areas.
