Before you apply

Read through the following before making your application for accommodation.

Note that student accommodation licences run for:

  • A full undergraduate academic year, typically 38 weeks and 2 days for undergraduate students
  • A full academic year, typically 50-51 weeks for postgraduate students.

Allocation process

We have high demand for campus accommodation. In order to decide who is allocated a room, we use an allocation document, which states the criteria for accommodation eligibility.

Specific requirements

If you have a medical condition, financial situation or if you have a preference for a quiet or alcohol-free environment which means you have a need for specific accommodation, you can include this in your application.

Apply for accommodation

Once you are sure of what accommodation you need and want you can make your application through our application portal. Please ensure you apply for the correct academic year.
