Monitoring air pollution
We have been involved in a variety of measurement campaigns ranging from mobile monitoring of air pollution along roads to exposure of commuters in buses, trains, bicycles and babies in prams.

Low cost air pollution sensors
We are involved in the testing and applications of low-cost air pollution sensors (such as the smart citizen kit) with the aim to formulate guidelines for end-users outlining the challenges, best practices, and future outlook for deploying them.
The group also utilises sophisticated air pollution modelling techniques such as computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and geo-visualization tools for extracting spatio-temporal variations of air pollutants in different urban environments.
